# Joining Campaigns

> The process of officially joining a game's marketing activities

## Joining Campaigns

Campaign participation is the process by which creators officially join a specific game's marketing activities. Campaigns are created for each game, and only creators who meet pre-defined eligibility criteria such as platform, subscriber count, and average views can participate.

## Campaign Participation Process

### 1. Find a Campaign

* Check the list of active campaigns on the PlayCamp dashboard
* Review games of interest and reward conditions
* Confirm campaign eligibility requirements

### 2. Apply to Participate

* Click the 'Join' button for your desired campaign
* Review campaign guidelines and mission requirements
* Complete participation application (automatic approval or studio review required)

### 3. Recruit Boosters

* Recruit boosters through in-game and creator activities
* Earn monthly rewards based on boosters' payment amounts

## Participation Methods

| Method                      | Description                                                                                              |
| --------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Immediate Participation** | Creators who meet the specified criteria can confirm participation immediately without separate approval |
| **Selective Participation** | After applying for participation, activities can only begin after the studio's review and approval |

## Boost Code System

### What is a Boost Code?

A unique code for each creator that distributes revenue to the creator when users enter it during in-game payments.

### How to Use Boost Codes

* Include boost code in video descriptions
* Announce boost code during live streams
* Share boost code in community posts

### Booster Registration

* Users can directly search for and designate a creator as their booster in-game
* Entering a boost code automatically registers the user as the creator's booster
* If using another creator's code, changes to the last used code's creator

## Revenue Structure

Payment amounts from boosters (users) who boost creators accumulate, and N% of the payment amount is credited as creator rewards.

<Note>
  The creator's N% varies by campaign and is set by the studio creating the campaign.
</Note>

## Campaign Guideline Compliance

### Required Compliance Items

* Include game title/description text and hashtags when uploading videos
* Comply with advertising disclosure requirements ("Paid promotion", "Sponsored", "AD", etc.)

### Prohibited Items

<Warning>
  The following actions may result in campaign removal or sanctions.
</Warning>

* False/exaggerated advertising
* Disparaging other games or inappropriate comparisons
* Creating/distributing content violating platform terms of service
* Abuse activities (idle streaming, fake viewers, etc.)
* Illegal/fraudulent activities (hacks/cheats, account sharing, etc.)
* Copyright-infringing content

## Restrictions

### Booster Attribution Principle

* When payment occurs after booster registration, 100% attributed to the creator registered at payment time
* When changing creators, revenue from after the change goes to the new creator
* When changing boosted creator, existing registration score is cancelled (deducted) and granted to new creator

## Abuse Prevention

### Actions

* When abuse is confirmed, related contributions and rewards are recovered
* Adjustments possible regardless of whether settlement has been finalized
* For repeated and serious violations, legal action or claim for damages may be pursued
